Pass Plus is a course designed by the Driving Standards Agency specifically aimed at newly qualified drivers. One in five drivers are involved in an accident within a year of passing their test. Pass Plus is designed to extend and build on the skills learned to pass the driving test.
The Pass Plus course consists of 6 modules...
- driving in town
- driving in all weathers
- driving on rural roads
- driving at night
- driving on dual carriageways
- driving on motorways
There's no examination to pass at the end of the course, and on completion you'll receive a certificate to record your acheivement. You may also be entitled to a discount on your car insurance.

This can really be helpful for drivers who have recently suffered a loss of confidence or issues relating to traffic incidents or medical reasons (all driving sessions will be treated in the strictest of confidence). We also specialise in developing your, "Driving knowledge and skills". To understand how to drive in a more 'eco' friendly way by better use of the brakes / gears and acceleration .
These can be tailored to fit your own requirements and needs. All driving sessions can be coached in the driving school car, (as pictured on the home page) or your own vehicle if prefered. If there is anything you would like to ask or any driving requirements please contact the driving school.
Refresher Courses, 'Driving within safe limits!' Drivers who don't like driving in heavily populated or congested areas, often lack confidence and retraining can address these shortcomings. New drivers are taught to drive within safe limits, without undue hesitation and to make progress where it is SAFE, LEGAL, AND APPRORIATE. Better use of the controls in and energy efficient manner can also reduce your fuel costs.

Defensive Driving / Eco Driving Skills (which can save up to 30% on fuel costs) / Advanced driving in preparation for the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) or ROSPA (Royal Society in the Prevention of Accidents).
